At BookBite AI, we respect your right to privacy and control over your personal data. This page explains how you can request deletion of your data from our systems.

What Data Can Be Deleted

You can request deletion of the following data:

  • Your Instagram username/user ID or WhatsApp phone number
  • All messages sent through Instagram DMs or WhatsApp
  • Conversation history and timestamps
  • Any appointment or booking information
  • All personal information we have collected

How to Request Data Deletion

There are two ways to request deletion of your data:

Method 1: Email Request

Send an email to: vemre9@gmail.com

Include the following information:

  • Your Instagram username
  • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Confirmation that you want all your data deleted

Method 2: Instagram Direct Message

Send a direct message to our Instagram account: @bookbiteai

Include in your message:

  • "I request deletion of all my data"
  • Confirmation of your request

Processing Timeline

Response Time: We will respond to your request within 24-48 hours to confirm receipt.

Deletion Time: Your data will be permanently deleted within 7 business days of your request.

Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once your data has been deleted.

What Happens After Deletion

Once your data is deleted:

  • All your messages and conversation history will be permanently removed
  • Your personal information will be erased from our database
  • Any scheduled appointments linked to your account will be canceled
  • The deletion is irreversible and cannot be undone

Legal Retention Requirements

In some cases, we may be required to retain certain data for legal, regulatory, or security purposes. If this applies to your data, we will inform you and explain what data must be retained and for how long.

Automated Deletion

If you remove our app's access from your Instagram or Facebook account settings, we will automatically delete all associated data within 90 days, in compliance with Meta's policies. For WhatsApp, you can request deletion via email or by messaging the business directly.
